Welcome back on board: TLC is open for business!

First and foremost, we hope you are staying safe and well during these ongoing challenging times. As the lockdown measures ease nationwide, we are delighted to say we have now reopened our doors in an initially limited capacity.

In accordance with current government guidelines, we are now able to welcome up to 30 guests aboard our vessels for gatherings and celebrations, subject to relevant social distancing requirements.

As ever, your comfort and safety on board is our first priority and things may be a little different for a while.

What will be different on board?

We are keen to ensure everything looks and feels as normal as possible on board, however we have made certain essential changes to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests. There are also some temporary changes to our normal style of service, but you can rest assured that everyone will still get a special TLC welcome!

Notable changes on board include the following:

• Bar service: Drinks will need to be pre-ordered for larger gatherings and we will operate a table service where possible, with card payments only on board.
• Buffets: Served buffets remain available, but we recommend choosing our sumptuous seated dining menus for catered gatherings.
• Entertainment: In accordance with government guidelines, we are currently unable to have loud music or live bands/vocalists perform on board.
• Enhanced hygiene: Our five-star rated hygiene practices have been further enhanced, including additional cleaning of high-touch points and surfaces. We are also providing individual hand sanitisers for people to use at their discretion. Additional signage throughout our vessels will help remind you to stay safe during your time on board.

The key advantages of choosing Thames Luxury Charters

We own and operate our Butler’s Wharf Pier base, as well as Putney Pier and Imperial Wharf Marina. This gives us complete control over who accesses our piers and vessels, as opposed to publicly accessible venues, and so we highly recommend using these for your cruise. Choosing these piers also provides maximum time to ensure safe embarkation and disembarkation.

Our vessels are exclusively available for private charter and are deep cleaned before and after each use. This also means clients can control the guest list and know who is on board if needed for the government’s test and trace scheme.

What vessels are available?

All our fleet are now available for charter. However, given the current restrictions on guest numbers and social distancing requirements, the newly renovated Elizabethan is an ideal choice for gatherings.

Smaller and more intimate events may also be suitable for Edwardian.

We appreciate every occasion on board is different but rest assured we treat our home on the river as if it were your own; a safe, comfortable, private vessel in a luxury “bubble” on the Thames!

How can I view the vessels?

To book a fleet viewing please contact our Events Management Team who will be able to arrange this at your convenience.

You can also undertake a remote virtual viewing of the fleet thanks to our interactive 3D tours. These fully interactive experiences allow you to "walk" through the vessels from the comfort of your own home, which is extremely useful at this moment in time. To replicate the experience of a personal tour and the additional information this offers, live guided virtual viewings can also be arranged with our Events Management Team.
