New group tour from the Thames Luxury Charters Group.

Renowned for their innovative Group Tours on the Thames, the company with the largest fleet of upmarket crusing boats, have come up with another winner!

'Hollywood on Thames' is a celebration of Film and TV locations in, on and around the Thames, travelling between the MI5 building at Vauxhall to the O2 in Greenwich.

The script has been put together by London's top film location manager and is voiced by leading actor, Jon Strickland. The whole event takes place more often than not on the 'Golden Salamander', herself scene of eight individual episodes of the long running TV series, 'The Bill' and numerous other film and TV credits.

The starting point is Butlers Wharf Pier, right by the Pont de la Tour restaurant, next to Tower Bridge. As you walk to the boat you will pass through the historic cobbled streets of Shad Thames where the ghost of John Hurt in the 'Elephant Man' still lurks and Bridget Jones had a fling back in her first film.

The 'Golden Salamander' is a smart, top class vessel, with good outside areas but also may be completely enclosed if required. There is a full bar at normal pub prices and TLC offer both a Lunch and a Tea option - £25 and £17.50 respectively. A good 2-course Buffet Lunch or a full Afternoon Tea.

Hours are Noon - 3pm and 2.30 - 5.30pm. Groups of 20+ may choose their own date, smaller numbers will have a number of dates from which to choose. For groups of 49+ the event will be exclusive.
